Aoudad or Barbary sheep
Ammotragus lervia
Straw colour. They do not have a beard like goats, but have a highly developed mane from the throat to the chest and upper front legs. The horns are more similar to those of the tur or barhal, than to those of the goats.
The range, in North Africa, from Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Mali, Algeria, Niger, Chad, Sudan and Tunisia. Introduced in Sierra Espuña, Spain, and Texas, United States.

The Nubian aoudad differs somewhat in the color of the coat, being perhaps somewhat darker in some areas of the body. It inhabits the Nubian desert, on the hills of the Red Sea in south-eastern Sudan.

Large antelope resembling the Kudu. Spiral horns smaller than the Kudu, which give one or two turns, with sometimes divergent tips.
It is endemic to Ethiopia, in the Chercher and Din Din mountains and to the south in the Arussi and Bale mountains. In the dense forest at altitudes from 2,000 to 4,000 meters above sea level.

Dark coloured, with the distinctive black strip on the front of the legs, interrupted by a white spot on the knees and on the hoof. Scimitar horn with knobs.
It is endemic to the Simien Mountains of Ethiopia.

Somewhat smaller in size than other Ibex, light straw coloured. Males with long, dark beards and scimitar horns, forming a semicircle to the rear, have marked knots.
It lives in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Oman, Israel, Jordan, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia and Sudan.
